From our research into the retro trend it was found that New Balance have actually released retro high tops in the US market.
They released the BB790 high-top silhouette in 2009; which was worn by the likes of James Worthy. The trainer was released in four colourways, each with a predominantly white base and accenting colours that match the kits of New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics and other American team colours.
